Journeyman Machine Repair

Machine Repair Technician

We are looking for a machine repairman with either:

a) Journeyman card

b) 8 years of documented experience

This position will start ASAP, ideally needing someone to start on Wednesday, 10/8

Night shift will work on a rotating schedule from 5p-5am.

As a Machine Repair Technician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, tearing down, rebuilding, and installing various machinery including CNC, metal stamping, plastic injection, steel, plastic, and grinding equipment in a manufacturing facility. Rigging machinery when needed and general maintenance on equipment as a machine millwright will also be part of your duties.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair various types of industrial machinery.
• Tear down and rebuild machinery and equipment.
• Install CNC, metal stamping, plastic injection, and other manufacturing equipment.
• Perform repairs on motors, valves, pumps, gears, hydraulics, pneumatics, chains, grinders, and automation systems.
• Travel up to 40% annually for on-site repairs and maintenance.
• Weld and rig machinery as needed.
• Conduct general maintenance as a machine millwright.

Essential Skills

• Experience in machine repair and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Background in rigging.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Journeyman card is a plus.
• Welding skills are advantageous.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $58000.00 - $84200.00/yr.
