Compensation: $30.60-$41.80/hr
Weekly Attendance Bonus: $3/hr
Shift Premium: $2 from 2:00 PM - 6:00 AM
Sign-on Bonus: $5,000

Key Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues independently.
• Utilize strong problem-solving skills, especially in programming and troubleshooting with Allen-Bradley systems.
• Ensure manufacturing process reliability and adherence to safety standards.
• Perform preventative and scheduled maintenance on various equipment.
• Safely operate an array of hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing devices.
• Read and interpret mechanical, electrical, and control schematics effectively.
• Adhere to all safety protocols, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
• Identify, plan, and execute follow-up maintenance tasks as required.
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment.
• Respond promptly to unplanned maintenance needs as directed.
• Accurately document work orders and maintenance records.
• Communicate maintenance updates clearly through written pass-downs.
• Troubleshoot and maintain electronic controls and instrumentation.
• Use diagnostic tools such as oscilloscopes and volt-ohm meters to evaluate and repair systems.

Required Qualifications:

• Journeyman Electrician License in the state of Michigan.
• Minimum of 3 years of manufacturing maintenance experience.
• Proficiency in basic programming and advanced troubleshooting skills, preferably with Allen-Bradley.
• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
• Able to troubleshoot PLCs and Ladder Logic.
• Willingness to participate in Hazmat team activities.
• Strong electrical and mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, P&IDs, and schematics.
• Ability to work weekends and off-shift hours as necessary.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Computer literacy with a willingness to learn SAP/PPE systems.
• Experience in Allen-Bradley programming and troubleshooting.
• Maintenance experience in the food processing industry.
• Proficiency with test and calibration tools (RTD calibrators, multimeters, etc.).
• Ability to troubleshoot 480 VAC 3-phase, 120 VAC, and 24VDC circuits.
