Journeyman Electrician

We are seeking a skilled Journeyman Electrician with a valid Minnesota Journeyman Electrician License. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and Minnesota electrical code amendments, along with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

Responsibilities

• Conduct electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance in accordance with NEC and Minnesota electrical codes.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and provide effective solutions.
• Read and interpret blueprints and wiring diagrams.
• Utilize electrical tools and diagnostic equipment efficiently.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure safe and effective project completion.

Essential Skills

• Valid Minnesota Journeyman Electrician License issued by the Department of Labor and Industry (DLI).
• Minimum of 8,000 hours (48 months) of verifiable electrical work experience under supervision.
• Strong knowledge of NEC and Minnesota electrical code amendments.
• Proficiency in using electrical tools and diagnostic equipment.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in both residential and commercial electrical systems.
• Familiarity with technology circuits, fire alarm systems, and process control systems.
• OSHA 10 or 30 certification preferred.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Job Type & Location

This is a permanent position based out of Mankato, Minnesota.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $83,200.00 - $125,000.00/yr. Health Insurance, Dental Insurance, PTO, Retirement Savings, Annual Christmas Gifts, Continuing Education and other Certifications, Travel Reimbursement, Employee Referral Program. Most begin after 90 days of employment.
