Position Overview

BJ's Wholesale Club is expanding its innovative IT solution team to enhance our supply chain technology platforms. We are seeking a proactive and knowledgeable IT Solution Architect with extensive experience in Blue Yonder (BY) Warehouse Management System (WMS) and Labor Management (LM). This role is vital for designing and maintaining efficient systems that optimize our warehouse operations and labor productivity.

Key Responsibilities

• Design innovative and practical WMS/LM solutions that meet our warehouse operational needs.
• Lead cross-functional teams through project phases including design, development, testing, and implementation.
• Act as a subject matter expert for BY Dispatcher WMS and Labor Management functionalities.
• Serve as a liaison between IT and operational teams to ensure cohesive solution development.
• Mentor team members in best practices for BY configuration and development.
• Ensure compliance with BJ's SDLC, SOX, PCI, and PII standards in all architectural decisions.
• Provide on-call support for critical incidents affecting supply chain systems.

Additional Duties

• Lead the design and support of BY WMS for core processes like Receiving, Replenishment, Picking, and Shipping.
• Implement configuration changes in BY WMS & LM modules according to business needs.
• Develop MOCA components and database scripts for custom logic and operational controls.
• Create and enhance MToolbox reports for performance tracking and compliance.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business processes into effective WMS configurations.
• Review development artifacts for accuracy and maintainability.
• Coordinate comprehensive testing strategies including unit and user acceptance testing.
• Research and implement modern tools for system integrations.
• Act as a troubleshooting point for BY WMS & LM incidents, engaging with vendor support as necessary.
• Keep documentation updated for all configurations, custom objects, and reports.
• Identify opportunities for automating labor management processes.

Education & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Systems Management, Information Technology, or a related field is required (8+ years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree).

Experience Required

• 8-10 years in Supply Chain, Distribution, or IT Solution Architecture.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Blue Yonder Dispatcher WMS and Labor Management.
• Proficient in MOCA, DBSRs, and custom development within BY WMS.
• Experienced in building MToolbox reports and dashboards.
• Strong SQL skills with experience in reporting platforms like Cognos.
• In-depth knowledge of warehouse labeling standards and inventory tracking methods.
• Familiarity with integration protocols such as EDI and XML.
• Background in Agile or hybrid SDLC models, equipped with version control practices.

• Excellent communication for effective collaboration across functions.
• Ability to solve complex problems under pressure while maintaining a customer-centric approach.
• Strong organizational skills focused on documentation and process adherence.
• Bilingual skills in Spanish/English are a plus.

This position is hybrid, with in-office attendance required Tuesday through Thursday at the BJ's Club Support Center, located in Marlborough, MA, and remote work on Mondays and Fridays.

The expected salary for this position starts at $125,500.00, with variability based on factors such as location, education, and experience.
