A premier elite boutique investment bank is seeking a highly motivated Vice President 1 to join its Consumer & Retail Investment Banking team in New York City. This team advises leading consumer brands and retail companies on strategic transactions including M&A, capital raising, and restructuring. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead execution of M&A transactions, IPOs, and other strategic advisory mandates within the consumer and retail sectors.
• Manage and mentor junior team members, ensuring high-quality deliverables and professional development.
• Build and maintain client relationships, contributing to business development efforts and pitch preparation.
• Conduct in-depth industry and company analysis, including financial modeling, valuation, and strategic assessments.
• Collaborate closely with senior bankers and clients to drive transaction processes from start to finish.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 6 years of investment banking experience, with direct exposure to consumer and retail transactions
• Strong technical skills in financial modeling, valuation, and transaction structuring.
• Proven leadership and project management capabilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact confidently with clients and senior stakeholders.
• Bachelor's degree required; MBA or other advanced degree preferred but not mandatory.
