Our Santa Ana and Ontario, CA offices are seeking Intern Engineers for our 2026 summer program in the following areas: Roadway, Structures, Tolling, and traffic.

Relocation and housing are NOT provided for these positions.

What You'll Do:

  Assists engineer teams in various tasks and duties.

  n

• n

  Assists Engineer with research, development and design of projects.

  n
n
• n

  Assists Engineer with the preparation of engineering drawings and documents as assigned.

  n
n
• n

  Performs other duties as assigned.

  n
n

What You'll Need:

n
• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent plus current enrollment in an accredited post-secondary engineering program
n

What You'll Bring:

n
• n

  Understands engineering, geometric, and algebraic principles at a basic level.

  n
n
• n

  Shows proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

  n
n
• n

  Accepts and applies direction from peers and supervisors.

  n
n
• n

  Obtains an understanding of introductory shop drawing and submittal procedures and requirements.

  n
n
• n

  Ability to perform basic engineering calculations

  n
n
• n

  Ability to organize information for use in drawings or other documents

  n
n

What We Prefer:

n
• n

  Completion of 2 years of post-secondary engineering program

  n
n
• n

  AutoCAD and/or Microstation experience

  n
n
• n

  Strong interest in transportation and infrastructure

  n
n

The approximate pay range for Los Angeles Metro Area and Orange County, CA is $23.64 - $35.46. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be dependent on factors, including but not limited to, the individual's qualifications, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as physical work location within the state.

The approximate pay range for San Diego, Sacramento and Inland Empire, CA is $22.61 - $33.91. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be dependent on factors, including but not limited to, the individual's qualifications, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as physical work location within the state.
