POSITION SUMMARY

As an Intermediate Maintenance Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a seamless experience for our guests. You will respond to maintenance requests and work independently to resolve issues while maintaining high standards of service.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Responding promptly to guest repair requests and effectively communicating with them to resolve maintenance issues.
• Performing preventive maintenance on tools and equipment, ensuring they are cleaned and lubricated regularly.
• Conducting visual inspections of tools, equipment, and machines to identify potential issues.
• Maintaining an organized inventory of maintenance supplies and requisitioning parts as needed.
• Communicating daily activities and challenges to other shifts using established protocols.
• Exhibiting proficiency in air conditioning, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and general building management.
• Using tools safely and effectively, including basic repairs of plumbing and electrical items.
• Assisting with surface preparation, painting, and light repairs.
• Implementing safety protocols, including Lockout/Tagout systems.
• Utilizing engineering computer programs for maintenance and energy management.

To be successful in this role, you should have:

• A high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent, with vocational training preferred.
• At least 2 years of experience in hotel engineering or general maintenance.
• A valid Driver's License and Universal Chlorofluorocarbon (CFC) Certification.
