- Starting Wage: $39.00-$51.00/hr. DOE
- IA Stipend 2,080
- Sign-On Bonus 10,000
- M-F schedule or 4/10 option
Responsibilities
- Aircraft Maintenance Technician will perform maintenance services including mechanical inspections, screening, repairs and providing regular statuses to the Lead Technician.
- Manage inventory checks to ensure stock of supplies and equipment, regularly update the equipment tracking log, place replacement requests when necessary and document part expenditures.
- Clearly document service paperwork and FAA information as required and adhere to policies and procedures while complying with the company's information security standards.
- Take pride in sustaining a safe and clean working environment for the aircraft maintenance team and flight crew.
- Use appropriate communication methods to help facilitate coordination of efforts between departments, vendors and team members.
- Work collaboratively and in a professional manner with all allied health and public safety personnel as well as your fellow AMTs and operations team.
- Two (2) years turboprop and/or turbine powered fixed-wing experience
- Valid Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license.
- Valid State issued Driver's license
- EMS systems, Aircraft maintenance systems, records and maintenance support and planning
- Possess basic aircraft mechanic tools and maintain accountability of personally owned tools in accordance with company policy and procedures.
- Possess substantial experience as an Aircraft Maintenance Technician, with a proven track record of performing and documenting maintenance and modification projects.
- Demonstrated ability to lead aircraft inspection events and alteration projects, effectively managing workflows to ensure technicians work efficiently.
- Experience in supervising and overseeing the work of other technicians, providing guidance and direction as needed.
- Capable of ensuring adequate materials, supplies, tooling, and special equipment are available or on order to minimize delays during maintenance events.
- Proficient in ensuring that aircraft work order documentation, forms, checklists, and other documentation are correctly executed to comply with GMM policies and 14 CFR regulations.
- Strong communication skills to liaise with the Regional Maintenance Manager, Director of Maintenance, Quality Assurance department, and other relevant personnel.
- Ability to coordinate with various departments and vendors to ensure smooth execution of heavy maintenance tasks.
- In-depth knowledge of aircraft systems, maintenance procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Familiarity with aircraft maintenance tracking programs and the ability to monitor and apply corrective actions.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex maintenance issues and develop effective solutions.
- Capable of making sound judgments regarding aircraft airworthiness and safety.
- Ability and willingness to participate in the after-hours maintenance or on-call support team which may include travel and working some evenings, weekends, or holidays when needed.
- FAA Inspection Authorization Certificate
- Related experience under 14 CFR Part 135
- Documented leadership of teams
- Autopilot maintenance experience
- Avionics and electrical repair experience
- King Air C90 maintenance experience
