Interim Hospital Safety Officer, Emergency Preparedness

The Interim Hospital Safety Officer, Emergency Preparedness, will be responsible for the oversight of safety initiatives throughout the facility. The Interim Hospital Safety Officer will focus on current initiatives including survey readiness, Department of Health inspections, and corrective action plans. This leader will be responsible for coordinating and monitoring safety plans including fire drills, employee injury investigations, construction safety, and remodels. Candidates must bring extensive knowledge regarding local, state, and federal safety regulations. Must be available to start within 23 weeks of acceptance.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree is required.
• Certification in Industrial/Occupational Safety and/or willingness to obtain is required.
• A minimum of four years of relative safety experience is required.

Compensation Details:

• Compensation Range: $145,000 to $155,000 annually.
• The final compensation rate will be determined based on experience, education, training, location, internal equity, and budget considerations, in accordance with Fair Market Value evaluation. Additionally, some candidates may be eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, depending on the specific role, including but not limited to health insurance coverage and retirement benefits.
• The listed base compensation range represents a good faith estimate of potential earnings at the time of this job posting and may be subject to future adjustments.
