Sovah Danville Imaging Center has served Danville /Pittsylvania County since 1991 providing excellent patient care, with weekday daytime work hours, in a respected environment. You will be surrounded by team members that support one another on both the clinical and clerical sides, to serve both out patients and referring physicians.
How youll contribute
An Insurance/Receptionistwho excels in this role:
Ensures that all necessary demographic, billing, and clinical information is obtained and entered in the registration system with timeliness and accuracy.
Distributes and explains forms, documents, and educational handouts to patients or family members.
Pre-registers and registers patients, i.e., verifies insurance coverage, benefits, co-pays and deductibles; calculates patient financial obligation and obtains pre-certifications, when required.
Provides explanation of process and addresses concerns and questions.
Schedules appointments and communicates scheduling changes with all appropriate departments and coworkers.
Provides reminder calls to patients on the day prior to service, answers questions and verifies patient preparations.
Reviews physicians orders for completeness and compliance requirements, i.e., covered tests, prior authorizations, and ensures forms and record completeness.

Qualifications:
What were looking for
The right candidate will perform receptionist, registration, and clerical duties associated with patient imaging procedures.Greets patients, obtains demographic and financial information, obtains necessary signatures and collects payments.Assists in all phases of the scheduling, pre-registration and registration processes.
Applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent
