In the role of Inspector, we'll count on you to:

• Perform daily on-site inspections of construction activities to ensure adherence to plans, specifications, and safety standards.
• Conduct and document construction observations for civil infrastructure projects, particularly those involving water and wastewater facilities, pump stations, and pipelines.
• Prepare and maintain daily construction inspection reports documenting work performed, observed issues, and contractor activities.
• Participate in weekly project update meetings with Client and other team members.
• Working closely with Resident Engineer to review invoices and prepare change orders for accuracy and compliance.
• Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications, and identify discrepancies or conflicts within the documents.
• Conduct and document observations of construction as it progresses.
• Provide guidance to less-experienced field staff as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• Engineering degree (Civil/Mechanical Engineering)
• 3 years of construction inspection experience, preferably with wastewater or utility infrastructure projects.
• Relevant Industry Certifications
• Ability to interpret construction schedules

Required Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent. (Candidates with 8 years of relevant construction inspection experience may substitute experience for a high school diploma)
• A minimum of 3 years experience
• Proficient with MS Office (Word/Excel/Outlook)
• Proven problem-solving and documentation abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
