Assistant Resident Engineer/Construction Inspector

We are seeking a dedicated Project Engineer to oversee essential paperwork and inspections for our infrastructure projects. You will be stationed on-site with a separate trailer designated for Construction Management staff. This role involves daily job site inspections and collaboration with the team, but not direct management of contractors.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily inspections of the job site and ensure compliance with project specifications.
• Prepare and maintain detailed inspection reports, submittals, and RFIs.
• Manage change orders effectively and ensure proper documentation.
• Collaborate with the team to handle Requests for Proposals (RFPs).

Essential Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Wastewater Treatment Construction.
• Proficiency in handling RFIs, change orders, and submittals.
• Strong understanding of construction management.
• Experience in civil and mechanical engineering.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering with relevant wastewater experience.

Work Environment

This position requires working on-site 5 days a week in West Milford, NJ. You will be part of a leading company known for its national infrastructure projects, particularly in the Northeast. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $60.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
