Industrial Maintenance Mechanic

Our client is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic, where you'll play a vital role in keeping equipment and operations running safely and efficiently. This position is ideal for a hands-on, mechanically inclined professional who takes pride in diagnosing, repairing, and preventing equipment issues in an industrial or manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform regular safety inspections in industrial, manufacturing, and/or repair settings to ensure compliance and operational safety.
• Collaborate with department leads to complete maintenance and repair projects on Veolia equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical problems and perform repairs or replacements of broken, worn, or malfunctioning components.
• Participate in the preventive maintenance program, including identifying and addressing root causes of equipment damage or failure.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and communicate equipment status to supervisors and production teams.
• Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and environmental standards.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Previous experience in industrial, mechanical, or equipment maintenance preferred.
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems, tools, and repair techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Commitment to working safely and maintaining a clean, organized work environment.
• No specific certifications required however, mechanical, maintenance, or industrial certifications are a plus.
