Shift: 2nd Shift
Compensation: $30.60-$41.80/hr
$3/hr Weekly Attendance Bonus
$2 shift premium for hours between 2:00 PM - 6:00 AM
Sign-on Bonus: $5,000
Relocation Bonus: $5,000

Essential Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electrical issues independently.
• Utilize strong problem-solving and programming troubleshooting skills, preferably with Allen-Bradley systems.
• Ensure the reliability of manufacturing processes while adhering to safety and compliance standards.
• Conduct preventative and annual maintenance on equipment.
• Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment.
• Read and interpret mechanical, electrical, and control schematics accurately.
• Follow all safety protocols, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
• Plan and execute follow-up maintenance work effectively.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Respond to unplanned maintenance needs promptly.
• Complete and document work orders and maintenance records accurately.
• Communicate updates on maintenance tasks through written pass-downs.
• Maintain and troubleshoot electronic controls and instrumentation.
• Utilize diagnostic tools such as oscilloscopes and VOMs for testing and repairs.

Key Qualifications:

• Current Electrical/Maintenance Journeyman License in Michigan.
• Minimum of 3 years of manufacturing maintenance experience.
• Proficiency in basic programming and advanced troubleshooting skills, preferably with Allen-Bradley.
• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• Ability to troubleshoot PLCs and Ladder logic systems.
• Willingness to participate in Hazmat team training.
• Strong electrical and mechanical aptitude.
• Skills in reading & interpreting blueprints or engineering drawings.
• Ability to read & understand detail blueprints, P&IDs, single-lines, and wiring schematics.
• Flexibility to work weekends and off-shift hours as necessary.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with SAP/PPE systems and basic computer literacy.
• Experience in programming and troubleshooting Allen-Bradley systems.
• Background in maintenance within a food processing environment.
• Proficiency in utilizing test/calibration tools such as RTD calibrators and multimeters.
• Ability to troubleshoot 480 VAC 3-phase, 120 VAC, and 24VDC circuits.
