Job Description

• Assist journey-level electricians in hanging light fixtures.

• Run large conduit up to 4 inches and circuits to panels.

• Install and connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, outlets, or other components and systems.

• Set up power distribution systems to support lighting.

• Lay out and install conduit, wiring, junction boxes, and panels based on blueprints and NEC code.

• Read and interpret electrical drawings.

• Possibly supervise apprentices, providing guidance and direction.

• Cut, bend, thread, and run electrical conduit materials.

• Pull electrical wiring through electrical conduit.

• Terminate electrical panels, set fixtures, outlets, and various electrical devices.

Essential Skills

• 1-3 years of experience for Electrician Trainees.

• 5+ years of experience for Journey-level electricians (card not required but a plus).

• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings.

• Experience in running large conduit and electrical systems.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $38.00/hr.
