Leverage advanced and specialized physics research expertise to test and analyze physical phenomena and support S&T client challenges. Apply extensive technical expertise and full industry knowledge. Develop innovative solutions to complex problems. Work without considerable direction, and mentor and supervise team members.

Basic Qualifications:

• 4+ years of experience with RNIIRS and SAR imagery quality metrics
• 4+ years of experience using the SARpy and MATLAB SAR toolbox
• 4+ years of experience with SAR collection, phenomenology, image formation process, and exploitation products
• 4+ years of experience exploiting SAR to determine the occurrence and location of objects of interest
• Ability to communicate with a variety of technical and non-technical audiences on the availability and capabilities of SAR imagery products, methodologies, procedures, and algorithms to enhance analysis
• Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam
• Bachelor's degree and 15+ years of experience with image science and remote sensing platforms, sensors, algorithms, advanced image processing techniques, tools, and data formats, Master's degree and 13+ years of experience with image science and remote sensing platforms, sensors, algorithms, advanced image processing techniques, tools, and data formats, Doctorate degree and 6+ years of experience with image science and remote sensing platforms, sensors, algorithms, advanced image processing techniques, tools, and data formats, or 18+ years of experience with image science and remote sensing platforms, sensors, algorithms, advanced image processing techniques, tools, and data formats in lieu of a degree

Additional Qualifications:

• Knowledge of modern machine learning and computer vision technology
• Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics field preferred; Master's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics field a plus

Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $99,000.00 to $225,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
