Compensation $65,000 yr - $90,000 yr

1. Supervise and oversee the daily operations of nursing units within the healthcare facility.
2. Ensure that all patient care services are delivered in accordance with established standards and protocols.
3. Monitor and evaluate the performance of nursing staff to ensure efficient and effective delivery of patient care.
4. Collaborate with other healthcare team members to develop and implement plans for improving patient outcomes.
5. Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by enforcing infection control policies and procedures.
6. Serve as a role model for nursing staff by demonstrating professionalism, integrity, and compassion in all interactions.
7. Provide guidance and support to nursing staff in handling complex patient cases or difficult situations.
8. Ensure compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards.
9. Assist in the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to patient care.
10. Participate in the recruitment, training, and development of nursing staff.
11. Serve as a liaison between nursing staff, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
12. Promote a culture of continuous quality improvement and patient satisfaction.
13. Handle any patient or family concerns or complaints in a timely and professional manner.
14. Collaborate with other departments to optimize patient flow and ensure timely and efficient delivery of care.
15. Stay updated on current healthcare trends and best practices, and implement them within the organization.
16. Adhere to ethical and legal standards in all aspects of the job.
17. Maintain accurate and detailed records and reports.
18. Attend and actively participate in meetings and committees as required.
19. Act as a resource and mentor for new and existing nursing staff.
