Sodexo has an opportunity for an experienced human resources professional to join the team as a Human Resources Manager 2 at BSA Hospital in Amarillo, TX. The HR Manager will provide generalist support to about 350 food service and environmental services (EVS) managers, supervisors, and frontline employees.

This role will ensure adherence to all Sodexo policies and procedures, with a strong emphasis on employee engagement and retention. Key responsibilities include employee relations, conducting investigations and maintaining documentation, performance and evaluations, labor management, leave of absence and workers compensation administration, as well as recruiting and onboarding new employees. The ideal candidate will be an experienced human resources professional with a proactive mindset, high attention to detail, and effective communication skills.

What You'll Do

• Implement and manage Sodexo's HR policies and procedures in alignment with hospital standards and contractual obligations;
• Manage the recruitment process including job postings, candidate screening, interviewing, and onboarding;
• Ensure compliance with labor laws, healthcare regulations, and hospital policies;
• Collaborate with department heads to assess staffing needs and workforce planning;
• Support employee development initiatives and career progression opportunities;
• Maintain accurate HR records and generate regular reports on workforce metrics;
• Facilitate communication between hospital leadership and staff on HR matters;
• Promote employee wellness, diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives; and/or
• Handle disciplinary actions and terminations in accordance with legal and hospital standards.

What You Bring

• have an extensive background in human resources management
• understand and respect sensitive and confidential information;
• have experience managing HR/Administrative support team members;
• have excellent computer skills with proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office programs;
• detailed oriented, flexible, and have ability to manage competing priorities and meet time demands; and/or
• have excellent organization, communication, and project management skills.

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
Minimum Management Experience - 2 years
Minimum Functional Experience 1 year of HR experience
