HR Generalist

Location: Onsite - Carson, CA

Shift: 1st Shift (8:00 AM 4:30 PM)

Pay Rate: $40/hr. Overtime: May be required (510 hours/week)

About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and experienced HR Generalist to join our team. This position plays a key role in supporting HR operations, including recruiting, employee relations, and process improvement. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR within the aerospace or manufacturing industry and be ready to contribute immediately.

Key Responsibilities

• Recruit hourly employees and manage employee conflict resolution.
• Support HR processes including metrics analysis, talent initiatives, data integrity, and performance management.
• Collaborate with recruiting, shared services, compensation & benefits, and talent management teams.
• Continuously improve HR practices and leverage HRIS systems for efficiency.
• Develop, document, and maintain standard HR policies and procedures.
• Partner with leadership to foster employee engagement and business improvement.
• Provide guidance on organizational changes, workforce planning, and succession planning.
• Act as a change agent to support business priorities and build high-performing teams.
• Assist with Global Mobility initiatives for the corporate population.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution (required).
• 13 years of HR experience.
• Experience in aerospace or manufacturing industry (highly desired).
• Strong administrative and interpersonal skills.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. (Visa sponsorship not available).
• Must be able to lawfully access export-controlled items.

• Position is open due to a department departure.
• Interviews will be conducted ASAP with the HR Manager and/or Director.
