Your Responsibilities:

As a driver for Alaska Waste, you'll be at the forefront of maintaining a clean Anchorage. Your daily activities will include:

• Safely operating a commercial CDL truck on designated local routes
• Collecting residential and commercial waste & recyclable materials
• Conducting pre/post-trip inspections (checking fluids, tires, safety equipment)
• Communicating effectively with dispatch and customers
• Lifting and moving heavy items (50+ lbs) - expect to be active!
• Delivering exceptional customer service throughout

What You Bring to the Table:

• A Valid Class B CDL: (with air brakes) - Class A? That's a plus!
• A Clean Driving Record: Safety first!
• 1+ Year of Experience: Relevant commercial or route driving experience
• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
• Reliability, friendliness, and team collaboration skills

Your Work Environment:

Be prepared for early mornings, active work, and fresh outdoor air. This role involves:

• Working in wet, cold, or humid conditions
• Heavy lifting, climbing, and physical movement
• Moderate noise from trucks and equipment
