JOB SUMMARY:
The Medical Assistant/X-ray Tech will provide essential clinical care to patients, ensuring the highest standards of service. This role involves performing x-ray testing, utilizing knowledge of anatomy and physiology, in a supportive and patient-centered environment. Full-time team members enjoy a rotating 36-40 hour/week schedule, including 12-hour shifts during weekdays and every other weekend, while our PRN (per diem) team members work as needed.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
The following tasks outline the expectations for this position, though additional duties may be assigned:

• Greet patients promptly upon arrival in waiting areas, exam rooms, and x-ray rooms.
• Communicate wait times and guide patients through the treatment process.
• Address patient concerns and escalate urgent issues as necessary.
• Conduct follow-up calls with urgency.
• Assist front desk personnel during patient check-in/out processes, when needed.
• Document patient vital signs, medical history, and relevant information accurately.
• Support providers during patient procedures under supervision.
• Prepare patients for radiologic procedures, adhering to safety and regulatory standards.
• Complete necessary documentation related to each patient visit.

WHAT'S REQUIRED?
- High school diploma or equivalent
- BLS Certification
- Preferred: Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant
- Preferred: Medical Assistant Certificate and ARRT certification
