Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 11 years of sales experience in advertising, marketing, consulting, digital media, business development, or advertising agencies.
• Experience coaching or developing sales professionals.

• MBA or comparable degree.
• Experience with or coaching digital campaign management, particularly in Google Ads or similar products.
• Experience exceeding sales quotas in digital advertising sales or similar fields.
• Experience in building relationships with internal and external C-level stakeholders, particularly in an advertising or marketing context.
• Experience managing and inspiring high-performance sales teams.
• Experience building a book of business in digital media.

As a Sales Manager on the Engage team, you'll lead, coach and motivate a high-performing team to use consultative sales skills to understand our advertisers' needs and deliver solutions that grow their businesses. You will own relationships and partner directly with clients to deliver sustainable solutions.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $156,000-$231,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Responsibilities

• Lead the management, operations, training, coaching, and support of a sales team to deliver on business growth, engagement, and customer satisfaction goals for a portfolio of customers.
• Work with the senior leaders to ensure collaboration between your team, partner sellers, and cross-functional teams, and align on Google wide priorities.
• Cultivate customer relationships through key C-level meetings and speaking engagements.
• Guide and help teams to build and manage effective long-term plans with their customers.
• Define the future of deep customer interaction and help develop the necessary infrastructure and processes.
