Key Responsibilities

• Recognize potential audit issues or unusual relationships from analysis of financial statements and communicate them to the assurance team.
• Document the execution of specific audit procedures as defined by engagement objectives.
• Challenge past audit procedures and enhance audit techniques.
• Demonstrate professionalism and competence in the client environment.
• Maintain a strong client focus, build relationships, and respond to client requests.
• Stay informed of current business and economic developments relevant to the client’s business.
• Collaborate with assurance team members to set goals and responsibilities.
• Contribute ideas and opinions to the assurance teams and listen and respond to other team members’ views.
• Use technology to continually learn, share knowledge, and enhance service delivery.
• Bring potential opportunities to the assurance team’s attention.

Qualifications

• Top‑Secret clearance required.
• Bachelor’s or graduate degree with approximately 1 year of related work experience.
• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
• Sufficient coursework to achieve CPA certification upon passing the examination.
• Excellent project management skills.
• Advanced written and verbal communication skills.
• Dedication to teamwork and leadership.
• Willingness to travel 25–30% or more in a hybrid environment.

Preferred (Optional)

• CPA licensure in your work state.
• CGFM and/or CDFM credentials.
