Geotechnical Staff Engineer

Insight Global is looking to hire a Geotechnical Staff Engineer in the Columbia, SC market. As a Geotechnical Staff Engineer, you'll conduct field investigations, perform engineering analyses, and prepare technical reports for diverse infrastructure projects. You'll assist in developing project scopes, cost estimates, and design recommendations, while ensuring safety and quality standards. Collaborating with senior engineers, you'll gain hands-on experience in construction observation, lab testing, and client communication, contributing to innovative and practical geotechnical solutions.

Required Skills & Experience
Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering
0-2 years of experience in Geotechnical Engineering
Lab testing, coordinating drillers/the project overall, drafting reports/proposals, cost estimates, managing small to medium projects
EIT license
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
3-5 years of experience in the Geotech field (pay will increase if this is the case)
PE license
Concentration or specialization in Geotech field during college
