Work where the MOUNTAINEERS play! Sodexo is seeking a General Manager for West Virginia University Concessions. This position oversees the management team at four athletic venues: Mylan Puskar Football Stadium, the Coliseum, Dick Dlesk Soccer Stadium, and Wagener Field at Kendrick Family Ballpark. The role is responsible for all contract services and financials for the four units of responsibility, which include Concessions, Catering, Performance Training Table, and a Minor League Baseball Draft League unit.

What You’ll Do

• Develop exceptional client relations and ensure the facility’s product offerings align with client needs
• Manage safety and financials at multiple locations
• Oversee employee training and development of hourly employees and managers
• Oversee day-to-day operations
• Achieve company and client financial targets and goals while ensuring Sodexo standards are met
• Develop strategic plans
• Ensure purchasing compliance
• Create a positive environment

What You Bring

• Food service management experience, ideally in a campus environment
• Strong financial skills, P&L experience
• A work history demonstrating strong leadership and hospitality skills and the ability to work collaboratively
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, demonstrate professional communication skills, and a passion for a high level of customer service
• Knowledge of compliance with food safety, sanitation, and overall workplace safety standards
• Ability to prioritize tasks and exhibit flexibility to take on additional responsibilities as needed

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement - Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience

Minimum Management Experience – 5 Years

Minimum Functional Experience – 5 years
