General Manager 1 Food - Schools (Enrollment < 2,500)

Role Overview

SodexoMagic is seeking a General Manager 1 – Food to lead dining services at Beecher Community School in Flint, Michigan. The General Manager will provide culinary and operational leadership for a medium-sized account, overseeing menu planning, program execution, and staff management and training. This role will work closely with both internal and external clients, ensuring high-quality service and managing the catering process from concept through execution.

SodexoMagic is the joint venture partnership between NBA Hall of Famer, Earvin “Magic” Johnson, and Sodexo. As a certified minority company, we deliver food, facilities management and integrated services to corporations, healthcare facilities, K-12 schools, colleges and universities and aviation lounges. • have culinary production experience and a strong background in safety and sanitation compliance

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement - High School Diploma or GED

Minimum Management Requirement - 2 years

Minimum Functional Experience – 2 years of relevant experience in school nutrition programs
