Overview

Wage Rates and Benefits: The General Manager position starts at minimum wage with raises after training evaluations. Southern Oregon range: $14.70-$18.76. Monthly bonuses are awarded if criteria and responsibilities are met. Newly hired GMs qualify for Medical, Dental and Vision insurance on hire date and benefits become available after 60 days of employment. We abide by Oregon state requirements for sick pay.

We are looking for a capable leader to advance within Domino’s Pizza, with opportunities from assistant manager to general manager and beyond. The role requires judgment, math and multitasking skills.

Responsibilities

• You are responsible for everything that happens during your shift, including cost controls, inventory control, cash control and customer relations.
• Set the example and follow all policies and procedures 100% of the time, and expect the same from your crew.
• Staffing, paperwork, cost controls, cash control, food management, adherence to schedule, maintaining a clean image and standards, great customer service, attendance and punctuality.

Advancement

Many team members began as delivery drivers and advanced to roles such as assistant manager, general manager, franchisee or Manager Corporate Operations.

Summary

We pride ourselves on our team members and being the best pizza delivery company. The General Manager position can be offered with no prior pizza experience, but it is preferred. The candidate must complete all evaluations up to Manager in Training before becoming a store manager.

General Job Duties For All Store Team Members

• Operate all equipment.
• Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, walk-in cooler.
• Prepare product.
• Receive and process telephone orders.
• Take inventory and complete paperwork.
• Clean equipment and facility daily.

Training

Orientation and on-the-job training provided.

Communication Skills

• Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
• Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders by phone and in person.
• Ability to interact respectfully and effectively with people across cultures, abilities, genders, ethnicities, and races.

Essential Functions/Skills

• Ability to perform basic arithmetic and use a calculator.
• Make correct monetary change.
• Verbal, writing, and telephone skills for order processing; eye-hand coordination for precise movements.
• Enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
• Navigational skills to read maps and locate addresses within the delivery area.
• Navigate various delivery sites while carrying product.

Work Conditions

Exposure to varying weather conditions; in-store temperatures range from 36 to 90+ degrees; exposure to fumes, cornmeal dust; cramped quarters; hot surfaces up to 500 degrees; sharp edges and moving parts; occasional outdoor delivery conditions.

Sensing

• Talking and hearing on the telephone; near and mid-range vision for store tasks; depth perception; ability to differentiate hot and cold surfaces; far and night vision for driving.

Temperaments

Ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work independently and with others, manage stress, maintain quality standards, interact with people, analyze data and make decisions. Willingness to perform any job as needed.

Physical Requirements

Details include standing, walking, occasional sitting, lifting up to 50 pounds, carrying and pushing/pulling tasks, climbing stairs or ladders for signs or maintenance, reaching overhead, and other manual tasks required in a store environment.
