Gatehouse Attendant

El Dorado Disposal, a Waste Connections company, is looking to hire a safety conscious Gatehouse Attendant to join our team in Placerville, CA!

The schedule will be Wednesday-Saturday, working 4x10s from 7:00am-5:30pm. Starting pay will be $21.00/hour. The pay range for this job category will be $21-$21.20/hour. Responsibilities Include:

• Greeting customers as they enter the transfer station, directing them where to go
• Cash handling and data entry
• Cleaning equipment - sweeping/power washing
• General site cleanup as needed
• Friendly customer service

Requirements:

• At least 2+ years of work experience, preferably in a customer service type position
• Cash handling experience
• The ability to lift up to 75 pounds
• Experience operating equipment is a plus
• Ability to work in all weather conditions throughout entire shift
