Our client, a leading innovator in the virtual reality gaming industry, is seeking a passionate Gameplay Software Engineer II to join their dynamic development team. As a Gameplay Software Engineer II, you will be part of the engineering department supporting the core development of one of the world's most popular VR rhythm games.   Collaborate with a team of engineers to design, implement, and optimize new features and content for the VR rhythm game.

  Own major areas of the codebase, ensuring high quality, stability, and scalability.

  Optimize game systems to deliver best-in-class performance across multiple platforms.

  Participate in all phases of the product development lifecycle, including requirements, development, testing, and release.

What's Needed?

  Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent industry experience.

  3-5 years of game development experience with a focus on gameplay systems.

  Proficiency in Typescript, object-oriented programming, and component-oriented architecture.

• n

  Experience with Unity, including asset bundles, shaders, particle systems, and editor tools.

  Strong understanding of 3D math and performance optimization techniques.
