Since Soccer Shots first started, we dreamed of what we might be able to do... Since then, our dream has turned into an even better reality. Through Soccer Shots, we've impacted thousands of children in and around our communities. We attribute much of our success to the dedicated, fun, and a little bit crazy team we've put together. We're passionate about what we do, and are looking to add people to our team who feel the same -- people who are fired up about the idea of impacting the next generation through the game of soccer.

Aside from the incredible curriculum, leadership, and passion, it's because we only hire the best instructors to work with our children. Working with children is something we don't take lightly, and it's imperative that you not only enjoy working with children but that you are incredibly passionate about it. Sure, we want you to have some soccer skills and to be familiar with the game, but more importantly, can you handle a group of 12 three-year-olds? This is what truly separates Soccer Shots from everyone else - we are in this to impact children in such a way that we leave a lasting impression on them that will give them the confidence to be successful both on and off the field. We want our 40-minute Soccer Shots sessions to be the BEST 40 minutes of each child's week. Soccer Shots is ramping up its operation, and we are looking to expand our team of instructors to accommodate our growth. We operate in daycares, preschools, community centers, etc... all over Broome, Cortland, Chemung, Chenango, Tioga, and Tompkins Counties.

We have sessions running Monday through Friday, with some Indoor Programs launching in the evenings and Saturday mornings. There is some flexibility in scheduling; meaning that if there are some mornings or afternoons where you aren't available, we can work around that. However, once your schedule is set with us, it won't change. You'll be at the same locations at the same time each week, and we need you to be committed for the entire season.

We are currently hiring for our Winter season and on, each season lasts about 7-8 weeks. This may be extended if we have weather cancellations that we'll need to make up. We're hiring now so we can use the next several weeks to train you, and bring you onboard as we prepare for the next season.

Each instructor starts out at $18/session as they co-coach, and $20/session once they are an approved lead coach, with the opportunity to increase up to $28/session in returning each season. The more availability you have, the more sessions you can run, the more money you can make, and the better you do with each session will set you up to increase price/session each season. We won't schedule you for anything outside of the availability you give us!

Soccer Shots coaches are:

1. Safety-conscious, whose #1 priority is the safety of children under their care.
2. Caring, engaging with each child through specific and positive affirmations.
3. Organized, who plan ahead and are systematic in routine, conducting each session according to the lesson plan and working with children to maintain appropriate order for the age group.
4. Responsible, who are committed to doing what is expected of them as the coach and "face" of Soccer Shots.
5. Energetic, bringing Soccer Shots to life by creating a fun and exciting atmosphere that leads a child to smile and participate.

In addition to the above, a successful candidate must pass a Child Abuse History Clearance and Background Check.
