Full-Time Store Support Specialist

About the Role

As a Store Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in assisting the store leadership team and associates with various administrative and operational functions. Your expertise in technology and communication will help facilitate excellent customer service and operational efficiency in the store.

What You'll Do

• Resolve administrative and store associate needs promptly by managing payroll, scheduling, cash office responsibilities, and supply orders in collaboration with the store leadership team.

• Plan and communicate effectively with team members using company tools and technology, adhering to routine guidelines for daily, weekly, and monthly tasks.

• Maintain and refresh associate common and office areas to foster a safe and engaging work environment.

• Assist the store executive team in orientation and onboarding of new associates while ensuring compliance with Kohls best practices.

• Accurately execute operational tasks and shortage reduction programs as directed, following Kohls best practices.

• Monitor training execution, surveys, and audits for the store, ensuring timelines are met.

• Maintain in-store technology devices such as handheld scanners and two-way radios.

• Communicate and address technology issues within the store to facilitate resolution.

• Participate in cross-training as needed and contribute across various departments/areas of the store as scheduled.

What Skills You Have

Required

• Must be 18 years of age or older.

• Willingness to travel for new store openings.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Flexible availability, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Preferred

• Experience in decision-making and problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.

• Background in retail or service industries.

Pay Range: $15.55 - $24.40
