Full-Time Physical Therapist - Inpatient | Newton, KS
Connected Health Care is seeking a dedicated Full-Time Physical Therapist (PT) to join an inpatient rehabilitation team in Newton, KS. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a supportive, patient-focused environment while making a difference in the lives of individuals recovering from injuries, surgeries, and other medical conditions.
Job Details
- Position: Full-Time Inpatient Physical Therapist
- Location: Newton, KS
- Schedule: Monday - Friday (Day Shift)
- Start Date: ASAP
- Setting: Inpatient
- Provide comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and treatments to patients in an inpatient setting.
- Develop and implement personalized rehabilitation plans to improve mobility, strength, and functional independence.
- Work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and occupational therapists to optimize patient care.
- Educate patients and families on rehabilitation techniques, safety, and home exercises.
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient progress and treatment plans.
- Utilize state-of-the-art equipment and evidence-based therapy techniques to ensure high-quality outcomes.
- Doctorate or Master's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- Active Kansas Physical Therapist License (or eligibility to obtain)
- BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification - Required
- Experience in an inpatient or acute care setting - Preferred
- Strong knowledge of rehabilitation techniques, injury prevention, and mobility restoration
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality patient care
