We are seeking a Full Stack Engineer Angular/.NET/Smartcomm with 6 to 10 years of experience in ASP.NET Core Web API, SQL, and .Net Core, with a strong background in Life and Annuities Insurance. The role involves working in a hybrid model with day shifts, focusing on application production support and maintaining high-quality software solutions. The candidate will play a crucial role in enhancing our technological capabilities and driving innovation in the insurance domain.

About the Role

As a Full Stack Engineer Angular/.NET/Smartcomm, you'll support and enhance applications in the Life and Annuities Insurance domain. This hybrid role, based in Saint Louis, MO, involves hands-on development across:

• Front-end: Angular, PowerBI
• Back-end: ASP.NET Core, PL/SQL
• Integration tools: Smartcomm

You'll lead issue resolution, mentor junior developers, and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable solutions.

Work Model

Based on this role's business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring 3 days a week in a client or Cognizant office in Saint Louis, MO. What You Need to Have to Be Considered

• Provide application production support in Angular, PL/SQL, PowerBI, Smartcomm & ASP.NET Core Web API solutions to support incident/problem/service request/job and application monitoring/weekend maintenance activities in the Life and Annuities Insurance domain.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications through rigorous testing and optimization.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Understand the business process thoroughly to provide end-to-end support.
• Oversee the integration of third-party services and APIs to enhance system functionality and user experience.
• Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
• Lead the troubleshooting and resolution of technical issues, minimizing downtime and ensuring seamless user experiences.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to drive innovation and improve existing systems.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide technical insights for strategic decision-making.
• Implement security best practices to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
• Manage project timelines and deliverables, ensuring projects are completed on time and within scope.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and methodologies.

• Possess strong expertise in Angular, PL/SQL, PowerBI, Smartcomm & ASP.NET Core Web API solutions with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
• Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of the Life and Annuities Insurance domain, understanding its unique challenges and requirements.
• Exhibit excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop effective solutions.
• Show proficiency in designing scalable and maintainable software architectures.
• Have experience in leading technical teams and providing mentorship to junior developers.
• Display strong communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Salary and Other Compensation

• Applications will be accepted until: November 16th, 2025
• Annual Salary Range: $60,000 $80,000 (depending on experience and qualifications)
• Bonus Eligibility: Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans
