Senior Full Stack Developer

This role is more than just coding. As a senior full stack developer at Booz Allen, you'll use your passion to master new tools and techniques and identify needed system improvements. You'll help clients overcome their most difficult challenges using the latest architectural approaches, tools, and technologies. You'll make sure the solution developed by the team considers the current architecture and operating environment, as well as future functionality and enhancements. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.

You have:

• 5+ years of experience with software development
• 4+ years of experience with AWS, including API Gateway, Lambda, SNS, or SQS
• Experience with Java and Spring Boot for building microservices
• Experience with building event-driven architectures
• Experience with coding, debugging, testing, deploying, supporting, and documenting moderately to highly complex application software
• Knowledge of Angular Framework
• Knowledge of code versioning tools, such as Git
• IRS Moderate Risk Background Investigation (IRS MBI)
• Bachelor's degree

Nice if you have:

• Experience with using Kafka
• Experience with Serverless Framework
• Experience with application containers and Kubernetes for container orchestration
• Experience with AWS infrastructure as code through CDK or Terraform
• Experience with RDS database Aurora and PostgreSQL
• Ability to manage and synthesize data calls
• Ability to work independently and respond to short-turn tasking in a fast-paced work environment
• Possession of excellent attention to detail, analytical, and communication skills

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
