The Frontline Ambulatory Clinic Supervisor will be responsible for:

Supervising and leading the work of ambulatory services representative staff/personnel.
Planning work schedules to ensure adequate coverage for critical administrative/clerical functions. Monitoring and ensuring work is performed in conformance with established hospital and departmental policies and procedures. Recommending, implementing and maintaining interoffice systems/policies and procedures to promote efficient and effective support service operations.
Recommending and assisting in development and implementation of departmental administrative policies and procedures.
Leading, organizing and overseeing provision of clinical administrative support services for department/service.
Planning, prioritizing and delegating work assignments and monitoring performance, providing feedback and guidance.
Screening and interviewing potential candidates, making strategic hiring decisions that add to the overall strength of the team.
Training and orienting new personnel and communicates changes in hospital and departmental policies and procedures.
Participating in selection, evaluation and discipline of assigned staff.
Monitoring clinic activity to ensure the best possible patient experience.
Assisting the staff with resolving customer service and scheduling issues.
Responding to patients concerns and needs, offering the best possible appointment options and resolution to other patient concerns in accordance with our best practices and procedures.
Responding to situations requiring escalated service response.
Monitoring and maintaining department electronic and paper recordkeeping systems, including highly sensitive/critical administrative and financial data and employee information.
Overseeing input of information into computer databases and spreadsheets, monitoring data validity and compiling, printing and distributing periodic reports and other information as needed.
Evaluating, recommending and implementing changes or upgrades in systems as appropriate. Serving as a SuperUser for clinical floor and participating in Joint Commission/Environment of Care preparations and rounds.
Collecting and compiling data from diverse sources, performing calculations, preparing analyses for supervisor's review and performing other related duties as assigned.

Schedule: Fulltime, Hybrid, once fully trained.
To qualify, you must have:

The level of knowledge typically acquired through completion of two years of occupationally specific education or an Associate's degree in business or a closely related field and two to four years of previous experience.
The analytical skills to resolve problems that require the use of basic scientific, mathematical, or technical principles.
The ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing and provide empathy in difficult interpersonal situations.
Strong organizational skills to be able to multi-task in a high volume practice.
