Job Description

We are seeking skilled forklift operators to join our team. As a forklift operator, you will be responsible for supplying assemblers with materials for production and transporting completed parts to the shipping area for delivery. You may also work in the shipping and receiving area to load trucks with completed parts.

Responsibilities

• Supply assemblers with necessary materials for production.

• Transport completed parts to the shipping area for delivery.

• Operate both high reach stand-up and sit-down forklifts.

• Work in the shipping and receiving area to load trucks with completed parts.

Essential Skills

• Proven ability to operate high reach stand-up and sit-down forklifts safely and effectively.

• Experience in material handling and warehouse operations.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Candidates must pass a forklift test to demonstrate their operating skills.

Work Environment

This is a high-energy, customer-focused work environment where attention to safety is crucial due to tight quarters and numerous personnel and forklifts in operation. The facility is not climate-controlled, so it can be warm in the summer and cool in the winter. As part of a union environment, employees are expected to pay union dues.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of York, Pennsylvania.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.93 - $27.80/hr.
