Share your vision and inspire others by working with Sodexo Healthcare! The Food Service Manager 3 position is located at Munson Medical Center-Midland in Traverse City, MI. This leader will be responsible for a dynamic group of employees supporting Nutrition Services.
Sodexo offers a range of services to healthcare facilities, including food, nutrition, environmental, facilities management, healthcare technology management, retail, and patient experience services. Employees at our healthcare sites play a crucial role in enhancing patient experience and well-being.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and develop service levels for the overall Patient Services Program targeted to exceed patient and customer satisfaction.
- Oversee Sodexo's Patient Dining Program and daily meal rounding inclusive of service recovery.
- Collaborate with clinical, food service and interdisciplinary teams to enhance the patient experience.
- Perform tray assessments to ensure food quality and presentation and tray accuracy.
- Perform management functions that include direct supervision of hourly associates including employee development.
- Create and deliver innovative and enriching cafe experiences for patients, family and staff daily.
- Deliver high quality food service.
- Mentor, develop, and retain frontline staff.

Qualifications
- Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to maintain the highest of standards and implement company policies.
- Passion for our patients and customers to ensure our Sodexo CARES (Compassion, Accountability, Respect, Enthusiasm and Service) behaviors are followed daily.
- Experience with oversight of diet offices, preferred.
- Strong management skills, preferably in healthcare.

Requirements
Minimum Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience. Minimum Management Experience - 2 years. Minimum Functional Experience 1 year work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
