Role: Floor Care Specialist

Pay Rate: $18/hr

Hours: Mon-Fri (3-11:30pm)

Location: 1325 Sumneytown Pike Gwynedd Valley PA 19437

Responsibilities:

• Perform specialized floor care tasks, such as stripping, waxing, buffing, and carpet cleaning.
• Safely operate various types of floor care equipment, including auto scrubbers and burnishers.
• Maintain cleanliness and order in both public and private spaces, such as hallways, classrooms, offices, and common areas.
• Follow safety standards and comply with all infection control, sanitation, and hazardous materials policies.
• Respond promptly to floor care requests and communicate effectively with campus staff.
• Perform light janitorial duties, such as trash removal, as necessary.
• Collaborate with supervisors and team members to identify concerns or opportunities for improvement.
• Complete all other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in floor care or janitorial services is a plus but not required; training will be provided.
• Ability to operate and maintain specialized floor care equipment.
• Strong attention to detail, along with the ability to follow instructions and work independently.
• Maintain a positive and professional attitude while interacting with students, staff, and guests.
• Adhere to safety and quality standards at all times.
• Must be able to lift/carry a maximum of 50 pounds, push/pull a maximum of 75 pounds, and engage in standing, sitting, bending, and walking for extended periods.
• Ability to perform routine, repetitive tasks daily and work in an environment that requires handling cleaning products.
• A criminal background check is required.
