Are you a skilled housekeeping professional ready to take the next step in your career? UPMC Hamot is currently hiring a Full-Time Environmental Services Team Leader to join our dedicated team. This position works second shift, from 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM, Sunday through Thursday, with Fridays and Saturdays off. Rotating holidays are required, offering a balanced schedule while supporting essential hospital operations.

Candidates must have at least two years of relevant experience, and floor care knowledge is preferred. In this leadership role, you'll help ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staffmaking a real impact every day.

Responsibilities:

• In the absence of the shift supervisor, temporarily act in a supervisory capacity; assume the responsibilities of the shift supervisor.
• Report problems and suggestions to the shift supervisor.
• Communicate with unit personnel and other departments regarding specific needs in order to complete assignments.
• Ensure that the daily work of all team members is assigned and that team members are working in assigned area.
• Ensure that sufficient supplies and equipment are available for subordinates. Report all problems to the shift supervisor.
• Inspect and ensure that all assigned areas are properly cleaned and in good repair.
• Follow all safety and sanitation regulations, reporting problems to the shift supervisor.
• Comply with all Hospital/Department policies and procedures.

Required:

• Two years of relevant experience required.

Preferred:

• HS Diploma/GED preferred.
• Knowledge of floor care.
