Financial Analyst - International
The International Finance Analyst plays a critical role in driving data-driven decision-making across our global operations. This position provides robust financial analysis, actionable insights, and strategic support, focusing on enhancing revenue performance, optimizing profitability, and supporting long-term growth initiatives in assigned international markets. The role requires a strong analytical mindset, a collaborative approach, and the ability to distill complex data into clear, business-relevant recommendations for leadership and key stakeholders.
May perform any or all of the following duties:
- Monthly sales report and analysis for international markets and franchises.
- Periodic royalty accruals, regional revenue tracking, and distribution of regional P&Ls.
- Collection, analysis, and interpretation of restaurant P&Ls from key markets/franchisees.
- Assistance with annual planning and quarterly forecast processes for sales and revenue.
- Itemizes periodic variances to the annual plan, forecast, and prior year utilizing the "waterfall" methodology.
- Establishes project timelines and follows up with other departments to ensure deadlines are met.
- Facilitates data access to key stakeholders and supports automation of KPIs reporting.
- Assists with ad hoc analysis to support strategic initiatives, including presentations for the Leadership Team, Board of Directors, Franchise Advisory Boards, brand conventions, and/or individual departments.
- Develops, refines, and maintains analytical tools and complex financial models.
Position qualifications/core competencies:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Management, or related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in Financial Analysis or a similar role.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence senior leadership through actionable recommendations.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to adapt quickly to technological changes.
- Prior experience with databases and Business Intelligence tools preferred.
- General knowledge of the restaurant business model preferred.
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
Work environment:
- Corporate office environment, fast-paced, high volume of activity.
Physical demands:
- Sitting for extended periods of time, typing and/or operating a computer and/or mouse.
- Limited travel as needed.
