LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a global real estate and hospitality group to find a Finance Manager to support their retail operations in New York City. This is a high-impact, stand alone role focused on financial reporting, planning, and analysis for a thriving caf restaurant business. The position is 5 days on-site and reports directly to senior management overseas.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead month-end financial close and reporting (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow)
• Reconcile daily cash and credit card sales with POS systems
• Manage bank runs and prepare reconciliations
• Process vendor invoices and maintain vendor records (W9 setup)
• Maintain accurate accounting records and post transactions
• Conduct monthly inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies
• Analyze sales performance, margins, and operational costs
• Drive budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis aligned with business goals
• Monitor daily cash flow and prepare liquidity forecasts
• Recommend strategies to mitigate cash shortfalls
• Strengthen internal controls and streamline reporting processes
• Liaise with external stakeholders (banks, auditors, vendors, consultants)
• Support ad-hoc financial projects as needed

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
• CPA or equivalent certification highly preferred
• Minimum 5 years of experience in financial management within F&B or retail hospitality
• Strong skills in financial modeling, budgeting, and variance analysis
• Familiarity with systems like QuickBooks, TOAST, MarginEdge, Tripleseat is a plus
• Excellent communication skills; able to present financial insights clearly
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Must be able to work 5 days on-site at the caf location in NYC

Pay Details: $100,000.00 to $130,000.00 per year
