We are actively seeking an experienced Field Service Engineer to join our team to service, maintain, and install our cutting-edge medical laboratory equipment such as hematology, chemistry, and coagulation analyzers. Based in the Greater Dallas, TX area, this role is perfect for a dedicated professional with a strong background in electronics and electro-mechanical systems, seeking to leverage their skills in a dynamic, supportive environment. The engineer will perform critical functions ensuring that our automated robotic lab instrumentation operates at peak efficiency, directly impacting the quality and reliability of crucial laboratory results.
Salary: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Installation, servicing, and preventive maintenance of medical laboratory analyzers.
Develop foundational customer relationships through excellent service and communication.
Coordinate problem resolution activities within the Field Support Group to streamline service and efficiency.
Maintain a detailed inventory of car tools, trunk stock (parts), and other essential equipment for daily operations.
Provide basic on-site training to customers on equipment operation and maintenance.

Minimum Position Qualifications:

A Certificate or Associate of Applied Science Degree in electronics or a related discipline is required.
Minimum of 3 years experience as a field service engineer in a relevant field.
Proven competence in electronics & electro-mechanical troubleshooting.
The ability to travel overnight as required for the job.
Candidate must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

Preferred Qualifications:

Prior experience servicing medical lab analyzers or other medical instrumentation is highly desirable.

Skills:

Strong diagnostic skills and problem-solving capabilities in electronics & electro-mechanical areas.
Excellent communication and customer service skills to foster client relationships.
Ability to manage time effectively and handle multiple priorities under pressure.
