Azure Platform Engineer

Our client, a leader in the technology sector, is seeking an Azure Platform Engineer to join their team. As an Azure Platform Engineer, you will be part of the Data and Analytics Engineering - Platform team supporting critical initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, effective communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Azure Platform Engineer
Location: Plano, TX (must be within 60 miles) Mainly Remote, One day On-site (Monday)
Pay Range: $62-64/hr
What's the Job?

• Build, deploy, and configure Azure infrastructure, including Azure Data Factory, storage, key vaults, and virtual machines.
• Automate infrastructure deployment through Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD pipelines.
• Implement, setup, configure, monitor, and maintain cloud-based Data & Analytics platforms such as Databricks and Snowflake.
• Troubleshoot and resolve environment performance, connectivity, and security issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline development and operation processes.

What's Needed?

• 7+ years of Cloud Platform Engineering experience in an enterprise-level environment.
• Advanced proficiency with Python, SQL, GitHub, Azure DevOps, Bicep/Terraform, and PowerShell.
• 7+ years of DevOps experience with a clear understanding of related tools and processes in an Agile/Scrum setting.
• Experience leading the design and development of scalable services for enterprise consumption.
• Effective analytical thinking and problem-solving skills with a cloud-native and security-first mindset.
