Baptist Health Urgent Care is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Family Nurse Practitioner to enhance our dynamic healthcare team.

Baptist Health Urgent Care operates 23 locations across Arkansas and is part of Urgent Team, a leading independent provider of urgent and family care centers in the Southeast. Our centers deliver quality, affordable family healthcare at over 80 locations.

At Baptist Health Urgent Care, we offer a range of healthcare services, including treatment for injuries, illnesses, occupational health, and wellness care. We are open seven days a week: Mon. - Fri., 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., Saturday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Sunday, 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. Note that our Russellville-West Main location operates on Saturday and Sunday from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m. All Baptist Health Urgent Care centers are Accredited Care Centers, recognized for our commitment to safety and quality in healthcare delivery.

JOB SUMMARY:
As a Nurse Practitioner at Baptist Health Urgent Care, you will provide exceptional medical care to patients of all ages with various acute and chronic conditions. Collaborating with a team of healthcare professionals, you will diagnose, treat, and educate patients, ensuring the highest standards of care. Full-time providers work a rotating schedule of 36-40 hours per week, with 12-hour shifts and alternating weekends.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Deliver outstanding customer service to patients, visitors, and coworkers.
• Provide friendly and convenient patient care for all seeking health services.
• Lead and assist during emergencies, ensuring a comforting presence for patients.
• Operate in a fast-paced and dynamic environment with varying hours and high-stress situations.
• Conduct assessments, treatment, and follow-up care, including primary and urgent care, DOT physicals, and workers' compensation.
• Perform medical procedures such as laceration repairs, nail removals, pap tests, injections, splinting, and abscess drainage.
• Establish and oversee appropriate patient care levels.
• Support on-site laboratory and diagnostic services as applicable.
• Maintain clinical competencies to ensure exceptional patient care.
• Collaborate with Center Leadership to uphold medical policy and professional standards.
• Participate in the development and revision of policies affecting medical practice and patient satisfaction.
• Assist in continuing education programs for staff.
• Propose developmental ideas for new or existing center services.
• Ensure compliance with licensure and accreditation standards.
• Represent the organization in internal and external meetings as needed.
• Guide other medical staff to maintain quality services and patient satisfaction.

WHAT'S REQUIRED?
Previous provider experience is preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply!

• Active State License as an APRN
• Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner
• DEA license or willingness to obtain upon hire
• DOT certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
• BLS certification
