Family Nurse Practitioner - PRN

Baptist Health Urgent Care is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Family Nurse Practitioner to join our dynamic healthcare team.

ABOUT BAPTIST HEALTH URGENT CARE:
Baptist Health Urgent Care operates 23 locations in Arkansas and is an affiliate of Urgent Team, one of the largest independent operators of urgent and family care centers in the Southeast. Our centers provide quality and affordable healthcare services, focusing on immediate treatment for injuries and illnesses as well as occupational health and wellness care. We are open seven days a week to accommodate our patients: Mon. - Fri., 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., Saturday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Sunday, 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. Please note that our Markham Street location is open on weekends from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m. All our centers are Accredited Care Centers, demonstrating our commitment to safety and quality care.

JOB SUMMARY:
As a Nurse Practitioner at Baptist Health Urgent Care, you will provide outstanding medical care to patients of all ages suffering from a variety of acute and chronic conditions. Collaborating with a talented healthcare team, you will diagnose, treat, and educate patients while upholding the highest standards of care and service.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Deliver exemplary customer service to patients, visitors, and coworkers.
• Provide friendly, convenient patient care to everyone seeking our services.
• Offer leadership and guidance during emergencies while reassuring patients.
• Adapt to a fast-paced, high-stress environment with changing locations and frequent interactions.
• Conduct medical assessments and manage care for diverse patients, including primary care and urgent care situations.
• Perform medical procedures such as laceration repairs, pap tests, and injections.
• Establish and monitor appropriate care levels for patients.
• Oversee on-site laboratory and related services as applicable.
• Maintain clinical competency in core areas.
• Collaborate with Center Leadership to ensure operations align with medical policies and professional standards.
• Contribute to policy development affecting medical practices, quality of care, and patient satisfaction.
• Assist with ongoing education programs for healthcare staff.
• Propose strategies for growth in clinic services.
• Ensure compliance with all licensing and accrediting requirements.
• Participate in training programs for employees.
• Represent the clinic at meetings or events as needed.
• Provide guidance to staff to ensure high-quality services and patient satisfaction.

WHAT'S REQUIRED?
While previous experience is preferred, new graduates are encouraged to apply! Requirements include:

• State License as an APRN
• Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner
• DEA license (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
• DOT certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
• BLS certification
