ABOUT BAPTIST URGENT CARE:
Baptist Urgent Care, an affiliate of Urgent Team, operates 10 locations across Mississippi and Tennessee, providing quality and affordable healthcare at over 80 centers. Our accredited walk-in centers offer a broad range of medical services, including treatments for injuries, illnesses, occupational health, and wellness care. We are open seven days a week with flexible hours.

YOUR IMPACT:
In your role as a Nurse Practitioner, you will be integral in delivering exceptional medical care to patients of all ages with acute and chronic medical conditions. Collaborating with a team of healthcare professionals, you will diagnose, treat, and educate patients while ensuring the highest standards of care.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
The following responsibilities generally reflect the expectations of this position:

• Deliver exemplary customer service to patients, visitors, and coworkers.
• Provide friendly and convenient patient care.
• Lead and assist during emergencies with a reassuring demeanor for patients.
• Conduct medical assessments, treatments, and follow-ups for various medical conditions.
• Perform procedures such as laceration repairs, nail removal, and injections.
• Establish and monitor appropriate levels of care for patients.
• Ensure compliance with all medical policies and professional standards.
• Provide education and support to other healthcare staff to enhance quality and patient satisfaction.
• Contribute to the development and revision of practices related to quality care.

WHAT YOU NEED:
Experience as a Provider is preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply:

• State License as an APRN or Physician Assistant
• Certification as an APRN through AANP or ANCC
• Completion of DEA licensing upon hire
• DOT certification (or willingness to obtain)
• BLS certification
