Facilities Technician

Our client, a leading organization in property management and facilities services, is seeking a Facilities Technician to join their team. As a Facilities Technician, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting building operations and maintenance efforts. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, reliability, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Facilities Technician

Location: Miami, FL

Pay Range: $22-24

Shift: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm

What's the Job?

• Support operation, inspection, and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and systems in assigned facilities.
• Assist in maintenance and repair efforts, performing tasks independently as needed.
• Conduct inspections and repairs to interior and exterior property areas, including walls, flooring, fixtures, roofing, and lighting.
• Participate in emergency after-hours support and work on a rotating on-call schedule.
• Ensure safety procedures are followed, maintain good housekeeping, and recognize hazards to promote a safe work environment.

What's Needed?

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in general building repair and maintenance.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Valid state driver’s license.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and oral.
• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs., use ladders up to 30 ft, and perform physical tasks including walking, climbing, bending, and working overhead.
