Location: Lake Odessa, MI
Type: Full Time
Available Shifts: 2nd Shift
Compensation: $30.60 - $41.80/hr
$3/hr Weekly Attendance Bonus
$2 shift premium for hours worked from 2:00 PM - 6:00 AM
Sign-on Bonus: $5,000
Relocation Bonus: $5,000

Key Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues efficiently
• Utilize strong problem-solving and programming troubleshooting skills, preferably with Allen-Bradley
• Maintain the reliability of manufacturing processes in compliance with standards
• Perform preventative and annual maintenance on equipment
• Accurately operate hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment
• Read and interpret mechanical, electrical, and control schematics
• Follow all safety protocols, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO)
• Identify, plan, and execute follow-up maintenance work
• Preserve a safe and organized work environment
• Respond to unplanned maintenance requests effectively
• Document all work orders and maintenance records diligently
• Communicate maintenance updates clearly through written pass-downs
• Maintain and troubleshoot electronic controls and instrumentation
• Employ diagnostic tools (e.g., oscilloscope, VOM) for systems testing and repair

Qualifications:

• Journeyman Electrician License in Michigan
• Minimum of 3 years of manufacturing maintenance experience
• Basic programming and advanced troubleshooting skills, preferably with Allen-Bradley
• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
• Ability to troubleshoot PLCs and Ladder logic
• Willingness to be part of the Hazmat team
• Strong electrical and mechanical aptitude
• Capability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings
• Availability to work weekends and off shifts as necessary

Preferred Qualifications:

• Proficiency in computer systems and eagerness to learn SAP/PPE systems
• Experience with Allen-Bradley programming and troubleshooting
• Maintenance background in a food processing environment
• Familiarity with testing and calibration tools (RTD calibrators, multimeters, etc.)
• Ability to troubleshoot 480 VAC 3-phase, 120 VAC, and 24VDC circuits
