Facilities Electrician - $5,000 Relocation and Sign-On Bonus

Position Details:
Job Type: Full Time
Shift: 2nd
Compensation: $30.60-$41.80/hr
Weekly Attendance Bonus: $3/hr
Shift Premium: $2 for hours between 2:00pm-6:00am
Sign-On Bonus: $5,000
Relocation Bonus: $5,000

Key Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electrical issues independently.
• Utilize strong problem-solving skills, especially with Allen-Bradley systems.
• Ensure the reliability of manufacturing processes and adherence to compliance standards.
• Perform preventative and annual maintenance on all equipment.
• Safely use hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment.
• Read and interpret mechanical, electrical, and control schematics.
• Follow all safety protocols, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO).
• Plan, execute, and follow-up on maintenance tasks.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Respond promptly to unplanned maintenance needs.
• Document work orders and maintenance records accurately.
• Communicate maintenance updates through written reports.
• Maintain and troubleshoot electronic controls and instrumentation.
• Use diagnostic tools to test and repair systems effectively.

Required Qualifications:

• Electrical/Maintenance Journeyman License in Michigan.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in manufacturing maintenance.
• Skills in programming and advanced troubleshooting, especially with Allen-Bradley.
• High School diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Proficient in troubleshooting PLCs and Ladder logic.
• Willingness to join the Hazmat team.
• Strong electrical and mechanical knowledge.
• Able to read blueprints and engineering drawings.
• Available to work weekends and off-shifts as required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Computer skills and eagerness to learn SAP/PPE systems.
• Experience with Allen-Bradley systems.
• Background in maintenance within food processing.
• Proficiency with calibration tools (RTD calibrators, multimeters).
• Capable of troubleshooting various voltage circuits (480 VAC 3-phase, 120 VAC, 24VDC).
