Fabricator

In this role you will use blueprints to ensure accurate assembly of pre-fabricated parts. You will also be responsible for operating various machines and setting up manual and CNC equipment to fabricate production, prototype, jigs, and fixtures. Also, MIG/TIG welding as needed

Responsibilities

• Utilize blueprints to ensure correct assembly of pre-fabricated parts.
• Operate machines such as bench lathe, milling machine, punch press, shear, brake press, drill press, metal saw, and welding machine.
• Set up and operate manual lathe, mill, and brake press.
• Set up and operate CNC brake press.
• Measure materials to perfect specifications using a tape measure.
• Complete one job approximately every 3-5 days.

The work environment is a clean, well-lit facility where employees have individual workstations similar to a job shop setting. A strong team environment is encouraged, and a cooperative attitude is essential. The company is non-union, focusing on building re-engineered control panels for locomotives.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Minooka, IL.
